If you need to call us for technical support, it would be especially helpful if you could be at your computer, and have the following information readily available:
- The type of computer you are using (e.g. PC or Macintosh)
- The type of operating system you are running (e.g. Windows 7, Windows 10 or MacOS X)
- The type of software you’re using (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Entourage)
- The brand and model of your modem/router
- The exact wording of any error message(s) you received
- Your account username (login ID)
It would also be very helpful to know:
- Whether or not you have always experienced the problem
- What change(s) you made prior to the problem occurring
- What steps you have taken in an attempt to fix the problem
- If you have checked our Support documentation for information on the problem
- If you have contacted our Help Desk previously for assistance
